Despite the weather, the cold and the amount of snow this past Sunday my husband, my little one and I visited the North American International Auto Show which is held at the Cobo Arena in Detroit.
I was truly disappointed because many of my favorite brands didn’t make it to the show, Nissan, Porche, Ferrari and many others and I doubt is because of the economy but because they have no market in Michigan, but nonetheless I was happy to see the new Mercedes, BMW, and many other brands I truly like.
I had a Mercedes SUV ML320 year 2000 which my husband drives right now ever since we moved to Michigan and I drive a Nissan Pathfinder which I’m SOOOOOOO happy to have bought because not only is an incredible car, is strong and is the best for the winter weather conditions of this area.
You will notice in my pictures I didn’t photograph any American car, but the new Camaro, because I really think this along with the Corvette are THE only cars that are worth it right now in the American motor industry. Sorry not a big fan of Chevrolet, Chrysler and much less Ford. I think these industries have lowered their standards too much the reason why they are doomed to disappear if they don’t start improving quality and the way they do business.
But enough of business talk, below the pictures of the cars that impressed me the most at the show…. Enjoy

Manuela,
Beautiful work at the Auto Show. I’m really looking forward to shooting with you sometime.
Sean
Hi Sean!
Thank you!!
Glad you liked them. No flash on any of the photos, and many didn’t need to be adjusted in any way, they just came out perfect! in my humble opinion that is ;o)
We should get together in spring, maybe photograph those old and dilapidated buildings in down town Detroit we were talking about a while ago or anything else for that matter.
Looking forward to it!
Manuela./
