Well hello there!

My first post on my brand new so much needed photography website.

As a fashion model I’m always in front of the camera but as a photographer I get to be the one in control and finally my so long postponed project became a reality.

For my first set of pictures in this site I wanted someone special to be the one in front of the camera, and who better than my son, Carlos. Carlos thinks he’s not good looking and worse he thinks he looks horrendous on every school picture that was ever taken, until he saw what his mom can do and he changed his mind.

Carlos is a 17 year old handsome young man and fabulous son. It took me a while to convince him to to pose for me, and I finally got a wonderful day yesterday for this. I took some of what I’ve learned throughout the years as a fashion and photography model and applied some of it to this photo shoot. The result I think speaks for itself.

The session took no more than 30 minutes. It was really cold 27 degrees and with no gloves to operate the camera I sure had a hard time trying to control the shacking after 10 minutes of really cold wind.
